October 2022: Party Conference, CFID and TEN

October was a fantastic month, kickstarted with the Conservative Party Conference and an opportunity to meet new groups such as the Conservative Friends of Kurdistan, the Falkland Islands and a chance to speak with Barclays Eagle Labs.

Back in London, it was off to the House of Lords to support the Ten Think Tank and APPG for Entrepreneurship, for which I, alongside other female entrepreneurs, contributed to the report via a roundtable the month prior.

The following week saw the launch of the CWO KCF Speaking Club, a passion project which I was so thrilled to see come to fruition. We were honoured to have one of our fab MPs, Felicity Buchan MP for Kensington, who provided an invaluable insight into her journey alongside stellar speaking tips.

I rounded off the month with receptions for the CFCC and Conservative Friends of International Development, in which an incredibly enlightening speaker from the Eleanor Crook Foundation, relayed the benefits of RUTF and how it truly is a game changer for those in need, and of malnutrition.

Weekly local campaigning sessions were rounded off with a hop across London, to Chingford and Woodford Green to campaign for former Conservative party leader Iain Duncan Smith, alongside fellow party activists.
