November has truly been a game changer. I was tasked with understanding life as an MP and boy have I had a masterclass. Thanks go to the incredible MPs and Ministers who have allowed me a window into their worlds and provided such generous advice.
The month kicked off at the CSJ reception with Steve Baker MP, Minister of State for Northern Ireland, Telegraph Associate Editor Chris Hope and Jeremy Vine.
It was back home as DCP for my fantastic ward Brompton Hans Town to campaign for our local councillors and MPs and to hear about local issues on the doorstep.
On Sunday I paid my respects alongside all of our local councillors and many other Association members, to those who fought for us and whom we shall never forget.
We were thrilled to welcome Selaine Saxby MP for North Devon, as the speaker for our second session of the CWO KCF Speaking club, hosted by the very generous Victoria Borwick.
I was honoured to meet Caribbean legends Rami John Holder (aka Porkpie) and Sir Clive Lloyd, recipients of the Unsung Heroes Awards, a genius new ceremony for dedicated party activists and the brainchild of Nic Careem. I was honoured to be presenting the awards alongside Dean Russell MP, Paul Scully MP, Sara Gezdari and Sir Iain Duncan Smith MP.
It was also a month of travel. First stop High Wycombe to meet the fantastic constituents, and have my first radio appearance, on Wycombe Sound! What an honour! Next stop it was Welwyn Hatfield to campaign alongside the local activists, councillors and MP Grant Shapps (BEIS Secretary of State), to meet with local residents and listen to any issues they had. Constituents were incredibly open and forthcoming and we had some fantastic conversations with Grant and residents.
Finally it was up to Mansfield to campaign with Cllr Ben Bradley MP., who may be the speediest deliverer I've met yet!
I rounded off the month with a wonderful evening with the Eshare Life Foundation, raising funds for education projects in Kenya, with none other than Sir Graham Brady taking to the stage.
Finally it was back to Chelsea, in my remit as Vice Chair for Training and Development of the KCFC Association, to launch our first Activist Training Session.
